The inspiration behind this series:

Hopeful and full – full of joy, that’s how I feel when our car passes the first marsh views as we make our way to the coast.  Even as a little girl, the marsh’s grass and waters, its long-legged birds and salty smells were a sight I soaked in with ever-increasing excitement.  “I see water!  We’re almost there!” 

Life is filled with taking out the trash, wiping off the counter, calming the crying child, working through anger and sometimes grief.   We pay taxes and type out emails, and also… we behold the sea.  Our eyes see evidence that our hope for more is not in vain, for the God who created the waves and the breeze that sends the greenest grasses into a lovely sway, is also the God who can be trusted to fulfill all of his promises.
