8x10x3/4” original acrylic painting on canvas

When we moved to our new home, I had to use an app on my phone to identify many plants and trees in our yard. I was surprised to discover that we had a plum tree which quickly began to fill with fruit. My 3 year-old Lily loves almost any fruit and has been delighted with the bountriful tree, dropping snacks on the ground.

I’m not the super fan that Lil is, but I do love the plum’s simple beauty! I never realized how many hues of blue one could fine in their little sphere.

So maybe this piece will remind you of unexpected gifts that seem to drop to the ground, like they do for my little Lily or for beauty in simple places, but either way, I hope this painting is a blessing.
